EXPLORE OUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

  • How Much Is It?

A typical epoxy garage floor is $4.00 a SF.

A two car garage is usually around 425 SF. That equals: $1,700.00.

A three car garage is around 700 SF. That equals $2,800.00

  • Why do I see ads on Craigslist for $400.00? $500.00?

That is usually a “big box store” brand epoxy/ paint. The “epoxy” is a lot cheaper, but it doesn’t work. It will peel up under a car as soon as it’s driven on a few times.

  • Can you do a “one day” install?

Yes, but I don’t recommend it. And, I don’t understand how you would warranty it. A one-day install means that there are three things drying at once: The patch, the epoxy, and the sealer. And as everyone knows: “For best results, allow dry-time between coats” is the way to go.

  • Can I do polished concrete in my garage?

Yes, but it will wear off quickly under the weight/ heat of a car. Polished concrete is great for foot traffic (and forklift) areas, but not for vehicle traffic.

  • What is Efflorescence?

Efflorescence is water vapor that is trying to “escape” or “breath” through the slab. It’s the 1st thing we look for when estimating a garage or warehouse, etc. We can fix it, but there’s a small fee (usually $1.00 a SF), and it takes a little more time. But it’ll work.

  • Do you have an epoxy flooring that doesn’t look like a typical “epoxy garage floor”?

Yes, There are a few epoxy options that don't look like a typical epoxy garage floor. These options include: Metallic, Grind & Seal, Polished Concrete, and Multi-Chip Epoxy coatings.

  • What’s the difference between the different options?

There are two things to consider: 1st, Whether the surface is being driven on or just walked on. And 2nd ,what is the space being used for. For example: You wouldn’t want polished concrete in an auto shop because it will wear out quickly, but an epoxy system is great for garages. And you don’t want an epoxy system that looks like a typical epoxy garage floor in a grocery store, polished concrete is perfect for that.
